Our Commitment

In accordance with Swiss law, the sale of products containing nicotine is strictly prohibited to persons under 18 years of age. At PUFF Suisse SA, we take this responsibility very seriously. To ensure a safe and legal shopping environment, we have implemented a mandatory age verification process for all our new customers.

This page aims to transparently explain how this procedure works.

1. When is verification required?

Age verification is a one-time mandatory step that must be completed before you can finalize your first order.

When you are ready to pay, the "Proceed to Payment" button will be replaced by a "Verify My Age" button. Once your age is successfully verified, your customer account will be marked as "verified," and you will no longer need to repeat this procedure for future purchases on our site.

2. How does the verification process work?

We use a secure and specialized service ("Real ID") to confirm your majority. The process is simple and takes only a few minutes. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Prepare your ID document. Please have a valid official ID ready (for example: national identity card, passport, or residence permit).

Step 2: Capture the image. The system will ask you to provide a photo of your ID document.

Step 3: Submission. You can either take a live photo with your phone camera or webcam, or upload an existing image from your device. For security reasons, we recommend using live photos.

Step 4: Automated Analysis. Our system uses artificial intelligence to analyze the authenticity of your ID to ensure its validity.

3. Information Matching

For security and fraud prevention reasons, the full name on your ID must match the name provided in the billing address of your order. Orders not meeting this condition may be automatically rejected.

4. What happens if verification fails?

Automatic verification may fail due to a blurry photo, poor lighting, or other technical reasons. In this case, don’t worry:

Manual Verification by our team: If the automated system cannot validate your document, your verification request will be forwarded to a site administrator. We will manually review your document as soon as possible to confirm your majority. You will be notified by email once validation is complete.

New attempts: If the submitted document is unreadable, we may contact you to ask you to submit it again. You have a maximum of three (3) attempts in total.

Reminders: If you do not complete the process, reminders will be sent to you by email inviting you to finalize it.

5. Security and Privacy of your Data

Protecting your personal information is our top priority.

Sole Purpose: The documents and data you submit are used only for the purpose of verifying your age and identity.

Secure Processing: All data is transmitted encrypted and processed by our specialized third-party partner, "Real ID", which complies with the highest security standards.

No Unnecessary Storage: Your identity documents are not stored on PUFF Suisse SA servers. They are processed by the verification service and then deleted in accordance with current privacy policies.
